Gap is a global apparel brand headquartered in New York and San Francisco. We developed the brand’s product art direction for GapKids and babyGap encompassing apparel graphics, labels, hang tags and showroom / window design. We prototyped new product categories and design innovations and managed the development of cross-branded projects.
We developed product designs for Boy and Girl, ages newborn to teen. Each season we developed the full design concept and direction the execution. The process consisted of assessing planning needs, market and trench research long with presentation to the executive team. From there we developed the full design strategy and directed the design team in accomplishing our established goals. We partnered with the planning and production teams in overseeing the production with the partner factories and ensuring timeliness, costing and quality.
We worked with the executive leadership team to design the showrooms for the seasonal global meetings. We designed and built unique thematic window installations as well as multi-category product merchandising displays featuring several hundred product SKUs. These concepts served as a catalyst for the store seasonal flagship store designs.
